
ONE TO ONE TRAINING SESSIONS
Health assessment will be carried out prior to your first training session and will last approximately one hour. A programme will then be devised from the information collected which will meet your individual needs for your own personal goals, creating a safe and effective workout. A re-assessment will be carried out every 4-8 weeks to measure your progress. Support and guidance do not stop at the end of your sessions, Nicky will be available 24/7 via phone, text, email or The Fitness Room Facebook page to offer support and advice or answer any queries you may have at any time.
BUDDY TRAINING SESSIONS
A maximum of 2 individuals can be trained at any one time. Individual health assessments will be carried out prior to your first buddy training session, each lasting approximately one hour. A training programme will be devised combining the needs of each individual, carefully ensuring each individual personal goal are met and the workout is safe and effective for the both members. Buddy training is perfect for those wanting to have the extra motivational support of friends or a partner, or those who like a bit of competition during a session!! A re-assessment will be carried out every 4-8 weeks for each individual to measure progress. ANTE NATAL TRAINING
A short assessment will be carried out prior to your first training session. This particular assessment will be slightly different to the standard assessment I would carry out. This is because our aim for training through pregnancy, is to maintain fitness and strength, not increase it. Measurement progress will not made, for obvious reasons! We will discuss your individual needs from the information collected, from there, a programme can be created ensuring your workout will be safe and effective throughout your pregnancy journey. A new programme will be created as you enter each trimester to suit your changing body, energy levels and any other barriers that may arise. Support and guidance does not stop at the end of your session, Nicky will be available 24/7 via phone, text, email or via The Fitness Room Facebook page, to offer support and advice or answer any queries you may have at any time.
POST NATAL TRAINING
A full assessment will be carried out post natal – a fitness test will be carried out, depending on the individuals current situation, i.e. how recent labour was, whether there were any complications during labour and the general well-being of the client. All measurements will be taken, this is the start of your journey and making progress again. A programme will be created to suit your current needs, progress will be slow and steady, to build up confidence, strength and fitness at the clients’ own pace. A new programme will be created every 4 weeks, gradually increasing the challenges to encourage you to push your limits and reach your goals. HEALTH AND FITNESS ASSESSMENT
Prior to your appointment there will be a number of forms emailed to you requesting various pieces of personal information, which is required for collating the relevant information needed in the set-up of your training programme. At your appointment the following assessments will be carried out:

Blood pressure and resting heart rate
Weight and height measurements
BMI
Waist and hip measurements
Waist to hip ratio
Body fat analysis (THIS IS OPTIONAL FOR THE INDIVIDUAL AND NOT COMPULSORY)
Cardiovascular fitness test
Muscular endurance strength test
Nutrition analysis and advice provided

Please wear clothing which is comfortable for exercising and suitable supportive trainers (please no plimsolls or Converse style pumps). This applies to all training sessions as well as for your evaluation. Ladies, please ensure you wear a sports bra.
