FAQ

I am often asked many questions by enquiring clients. Below are a few that are asked mostly, take a look to see if your question is answered. If your question isn’t listed, please go to the ‘Contact’ page and contact me directly. I’m always happy to answer any burning questions you may have.

  • What sort of exercises will be included in my fitness programme?
    This depends on your goals and what you wish to achieve through personal training. During your health and fitness assessment, I will find out more about your current fitness levels so I can create a programme in line with your needs. There will always be a cardio training section and strength training section in each programme, and will target all over body.
  • I want to train with my friend, but she is fitter than me. Can we still buddy train?"
    Yes, absolutely. Even if one buddy is fitter or stronger than the other, I will create a programme that is both safe and effective for both individuals. In some cases, I may advise adaptations to various exercises and weight selections may differ. However, you can be assured you will both receive a challenging workout.
  • What if I fail the fitness tests?
    You won’t fail the fitness test! Theses tests are carried out so I have an idea of your current fitness and strength levels and I know where to start you from, so you can get the most out of your training sessions. There is no right or wrong!
  • I feel very self conscious about my body and hate training in the gym because of this.
    The Fitness Room is a private studio with full length blinds. With just me and you present, you don’t have to worry about being around other gym goers. I completely understand issues most women have about body image, and you can be fully assured I will make you feel at ease, so you can enjoy your training session and focus on achieving your goals. I do not judge anyone by how they look or by their performance.
